Which payroll reports can it read?
The base release reads payroll reports exported from Paychex, ADP, and QuickBooks. It handles standard report exports (PDF and spreadsheet formats). Other source systems (a different provider's reports) ship as paid add-on modules; tell us what you're seeing and we'll scope it.
What does it produce?
A filled isolved import file, mapped to the layout and reconciled so the totals tie out before you load it. Anything PayrollFerry can't verify against the source reports is flagged for a human to review rather than guessed.
How is client payroll data handled and secured?
PayrollFerry runs entirely on your own machine. Client payroll data is read locally and the import file is written locally. Nothing is uploaded to us, and there's no cloud middleman holding the data. Your firm keeps full custody of the files at every step. The only thing that ever talks to our servers is a lightweight license check to confirm your key is active.
What platforms does it run on?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). The Windows installer is a signed .exe and the Mac build is a notarized .dmg. Both run as a normal desktop app, with no server to stand up.
How much does it cost, and is it per seat?
